Each institute will feature:
- A preview of new upcoming PAC guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
- A panel discussion on the nuts and bolts of PAC leadership.
- Recommendations for effective collaboration from an experienced administrator of special education.
- Networking and resource sharing with other PAC leaders across the state.
You will also experience “True Colors,” an exercise that will help you learn about your individual communication style and understand how people with differing styles interact. This self-discovery is essential for improving interpersonal communication, developing leadership skills, resolving conflicts and teambuilding.
MassPAC Basic Members can send one PAC leader at no charge to one PAC leadership institute; Membership Plus members can send two PAC leaders to one institute at no charge. Additional PAC leaders can attend for a charge of $40 each.
